KAM film was founded in 1987 by filmmaker Konrad Gylfason and his wife Anna Maria Hardardottir. Incorporated in 2001 KAM film has mainly focused on providing digital post-production services for movies, documentaries, TV-shows and commercials. In addition the company has produced documentaries and TV-shows that have been shown on the State Broadcasting Services (RUV-TV).
Konrad Gylfason is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Undergraduate Film and Television program (BFA, Honors Scholar ’87) and received an MA in Media Studies (Cross Cultural Communications & Corporate Media Management) from The New School for Social Research in New York City. Through the years he has gained extensive experience as a director/producer, cameraman, editor in adition to on-line and color grading services.
KAM film is a member of SÍK – Association of Icelandic Film Producers
